The make-up trend in Paris has not strayed from what we saw in Newyork, London and Milan. My Hit designer for this season is Christian Dior, the outfits were elegant and mesmerizing and each line was presented with a unique hair and make-up style.
The featured look below feels adventurous and sexy, it’s for anyone who is in love with colors and has the confidence to pull off red lips. ( Click on the image to enlarge.)
For Dark women:
Face: use a matching concealer and foundation to cover up imperfection and give your skin a flawless appearance. Follow this with an appropriate transluscent powder which is illuminating to give you a radiant look. Use a reddish or intense gold blusher to your cheek bones to add warmth and definition to the face. A dark pink blusher is more flattering for olive skin tones.
Eyes: Instead of applying a pearlescent white shadow which can be very contrasting, apply a shimmery vanilla or beige shadow as the base, also apply it in the tear drop to open up the eyes. Blue will be more flattering on women with cool undertones, if you have a warm undertone you may use a green shadow. For variation apply a matte eyeshadow on top of the shimmery lighter shadow.
Lips: Choose a red lipstick which flatters your skin tone. Check our Make-up SOS for help.
